Fonts for logos in the Falcon universe

The Dassault Aviation Brandtype font has been slightly adapted for the purposes of creating the Falcon system logos.

This alphabet connects the Falcon logos to the Dassault Aviation universe: identity maintaining on ongoing continuum.

Colors in the Falcon universe

A specific palette of 6 colors has been chosen for the Falcon system families.

They should not be used outside of their home families.

Creating aircraft logos

Creating the aircraft logos is a unique process and follows the same rules for all names aircraft the Falcon aircraft range.
It ensures recognition and unity for the range.

The construction is fixed and must be followed exactly as shown in the above examples. No other construction is allowed.

Aircraft logos on 2 lines

The design of 2-line logos is determined by the constraints of each name and the expected uses.
The construction may therefore vary depending on the number of letters and / or the space required.

The construction rules must be followed. No other construction is allowed.

Constructing several aircraft logos

When several aircraft logos exist together, the Falcon logo should not be systematically repeated as this would impact the logo’s legibility.

The position of the logos must follow the specific rules determined above.

The Falcon logo should only appear once.

The rules for sharing the brand name should always be followed. No other sharing is allowed.

Logo violations

The construction must never be altered in terms of shape, layout, colors, etc.

Aircraft logo with tagline

There is a version with Falcon logo signatures.

This tagline is adapted to the context and the objective of the advertising. The terms can therefore change but the design and construction of the tagline must follow the above rules.

This tagline must be used at the request of a Falcon manager.

The construction rules must be followed. There are no other tagline options for Falcon logos.

Clear space

A clear space has been defined so no design or text element impacts the legibility of the logo.

Minimum size

A minimum size has been defined to guarantee the logo’s legibility. It is everyone’s responsibility to use the logo in a size that ensures consistency, legibility and prominence.

Creating these logos follows a specific process to ensure visual consistency.
Depending on the letters and their design, the spacing may vary slightly to ensure the best aesthetics.

Any creation of a Falcon logo must be initiated by a Falcon manager and approved by the Dassault Aviation Brand Identity Department.

Layout for Falcon logos with 3 words on 1 line

When the logo has three or more words, the space between Falcon and the first word is slightly smaller than the spacing between the other words.
This ensures that logos with three or more words are clearly legible.

Any creation of a Falcon logo must be initiated by a Falcon manager and approved by the Dassault Aviation Brand Identity Department.

The design of 2-line logos is determined by the constraints of each name and the expected usages.

The construction may therefore vary depending on the number of letters and / or the space required.

Exception of logos with 2 words on 2 lines

When the second word is shorter than the word Falcon, it is left-aligned and uses the same size font as the word Falcon.

When the second word is longer than the word Falcon, the font size is adapted so the second word is the same length as the word Falcon.

This construction should never be used on a logo with more than 2 words
