Clear space

No design element can appear in the logo’s clear space as this would affect its legibility.

This space is calculated on the basis of X, which is the width of the Falcon logo connectors.

Minimum size

A minimum size has been defined to guarantee the logo’s legibility.

It is everyone’s responsibility to use the logo in a size that ensures consistency, legibility and prominence.

Use of logo on backgrounds

Photo background

If there is enough contrast to guarantee its legibility, the logo can be used on a photo or colored background.

Plan background

The logo must be used in the version that provides the best contrast: color, monochrome or grayscale.

This tagline must be used at the request of a Falcon manager.

This tagline must never exceed the maximum size.
If there is a long tagline, it will be on 2 lines.

The tagline must be left-aligned.

There are no other tagline options for Falcon logos.

Slanted line design

The slash is used in all our creative designs.
It can be present in various forms, discreet or bold.
This angle is taken from the Dassault Aviation logo.

Step 1
Create a shape as the base for the tilt and rotate it 16.5°.

Step 2
Create the desired shape while making sure to keep the slanted line. The shape can be custom-made depending on the need for the design.

Step 3
Integrate the slanted line in a manner that is sensitive and consistent with our identity. Infinite variations are possible.

Iconography

The Dassault Aviation image library presents a complete overview of our activities, employees, products, production sites, office sites, innovations, etc. You can access it at the following address:

Silhouette is taken from the logo. It can be used to add energy to an ad. It should only appear once per page.
Please note that silhouette appears with the Falcon name in the Falcon logo only.

Layout rules

This applies to covers and inside pages whatever the document format (A4, A5, etc. vertical or horizontal).
No text elements can be placed outside the grid, except for page numbers.

Vertical

Horizontal

Square

Calculation

This grid is calculated using the smallest side.

This smallest side must be divided by exactly 52.5 to get the base unit (X) which is used to calculate the margins and gutter margins.

Advertising

Co-branding advertising

The Falcon brand must systematically be linked to its parent company Dassault Aviation.
In an ad or a single-sided document, the Dassault Aviation logo must therefore appear in the footer according to the rules set out above.
